According to sources Mart J. Blige was feeling a little charitable the other day while shopping in New York’s Diane von Furstenberg store. Mary apparently overheard a shopper who was there picking up a $900 dress that the shopper believed was $500. Mary noticed how the shopper couldn’t afford the different balance and implied to here that she would cover the balance difference. Blige said, “I know what it’s like to want something and not be able to have it.” The customer relented at first and wanted to send Mary a check for the balance, but Blige said, “Just enjoy it. I’m blessed, so let me do this.” Even though it was the famous Mary J. Blige it was a very nice gesture.  Although, it would be nice if I saw Mary at the gas station sometime.
