According to sources David Lee Roth from Van Halen was recently pulled over by police in Canada for speeding. He told police that he is the famous David Lee Roth and was speeding because he was having an allergic reaction to some cashews. The police escorted him to the hospital and that was the end of his encounter with the law enforcement. The cops took the story and went to the news, revealing how they helped save David’s life.

After word got out the real David Lee Roth defended himself on that it was not him and he that is not allergic to nuts. Roth’s publicist issued a statement…?“I was in Canada only from July first through the fourth for a performance at the Quebec City Summer Festival,” David said in a statement. “I had no encounters or incidents with the police. The only thing I’m allergic to is criticism.”

Apparenly David Lee Roth’s imposter hasn’t only convinced police that he was legit. He recently convinced an entire bar that he was David Lee Roth and performed with the house band. A few people recognized the Roth lookalike in newspaper photos and later called the police.
