So this is what all the fuss is about. At a run-of-the-mill oddball concert in Shanghai, Bjork made reference to Tibet in a song that seeks to empower territories and countries trampled by war. To us, it looks like a bunch of bad lighting, hessian sack costumes, confetti clouds, and Bjork screaming incomprehensible lyrics punctuated periodically by the word “Tibet”. We’re not sure how a lame rock show turns into an international political affair, but then again we don’t understand China’s many moods. And we can’t comprehend Bjork at all. Period.
